1. It would be best to start preparing in advance: put the two types of butter from the refrigerator to allow the products to soften a little. At this time, turn on the oven at 350˚F (180˚C).
2. Combine flour, baking soda, and baking powder in a medium bowl. In another container, beat two types of butter and sugar. You can use both a blender and a whisk, but it's worth getting the consistency of a cream. Add eggs (and vanilla extract, if you wish) to the mixture and blend again. Now add dry ingredients and make sure no lumps form when mixing. Now it's time to add the chocolate chips!
3. Form lumps of approximately the same size (you can use a spoon for doing that). Flatten these balls a little to form a cookie.
