If you’re having difficulty identifying a plant, try the following: - Take a new photo; - Make sure the plant is clearly visible and is the only plant in the photo; - Move the plant to a better-lit area; - Make sure the entire plant is within the frame. If this doesn’t help, you can manually search for the plant using our Plant Search feature.

The app automatically sorts your plants in the library by their upcoming care needs. We will send you a push notification when it’s time to attend to your greenie. This way, you’ll never miss a care task!
To update your plant care schedule, follow these steps: - Go to My Plants; - Select the plant you want to update information on; - Make the necessary changes.
If you can’t find a plant in the search menu, ensure you’ve spelled the name correctly. Try searching using the plant’s scientific name as well. If that doesn’t help, click the Request Plant button, and we’ll add it to our list for future updates. Please keep in mind that our experts will need to prepare a detailed care guide for your greenie, so this may take some time.
Our service automatically adjusts your care plan according to your hemisphere. You can also manually set your hemisphere by scrolling down to Care Plan Data and choosing your hemisphere.

The Light Meter helps you find the best lighting conditions for your plant. Different plants have varying light needs. To determine what your plant requires, simply point your camera at it, and our system will recommend the ideal light level for your plant.
If your plant is showing signs of distress, we can help identify the issue. Simply take a picture of your plant, and our AI technology will diagnose the problem. You'll also receive a guide to help restore your plant's health. For more complex cases, we recommend using the Botanist Help feature to consult with a live expert.
If you complete a short quiz, we can help you determine how much water your plant needs. You'll also receive timely reminders about when and how to water your plant.
To rename your plant: - Go to My Plants; - Click on the plant you want to rename; - Click on Settings; - Change your plant’s name.
To delete a plant: - Go to My Plants; - Select the plant you want to delete; - Click on Settings; - Click Remove this plant. Keep in mind that this action cannot be undone. Once you remove the plant, all its history will be deleted from your account.
‘Retiring’ a plant means removing it from your care schedule while preserving its care history. To retire a plant: - Go to My Plants; - Select the plant you want to retire; - Click on Settings; - Click Retire plant. You can return the plant to your care guide at any time. To do this: - Go to My Plants; - Select the plant you want to return; - Click Return this plant.
The Botanist Help feature connects you with a professional botanist to assist with any plant-related questions or issues. Simply describe your problem, attach a few images, and submit your request. We’ll then match you with a specialist who will provide a tailored solution.
In your personal account (under the Healthcare section), you will find the Botanist Help feature. Simply click on the Ask the Botanist button, complete the form, and submit the payment. You will receive your solution in no time!

You can change your email in your profile settings. - Go to Menu; - Click on Settings; - Change your email address. Please note that the new email address should be unique and not taken by other users.

Registering a Plantin account ensures that all your plant data, including personalized care instructions, subscriptions, and season passes are securely stored. In other words, if you upgrade your device or switch to a different operating system, you can still log in and access the app with all your information intact.
To transfer your plants, first make sure you have an account on your old device. If you don’t, create one. Once your account is set up, log in on your new device using the same credentials, and your plant data will automatically sync across both devices.
