How to Care for the Plant
Water
Keep the soil moist during the growing season but never waterlogged. Reduce watering from fall to winter.
Pruning
Prune erect stems when there are one too many at various desired heights (new growth will readily emerge at cut levels) for a lovely aesthetic and ornamental display.
Fertilizer
Feed the plant once every month during spring and summer, using a general-purpose liquid fertilizer for indoor plants. You can also use a time-release fertilizer. Withhold fertilizer during fall and winter. Apply fertilizer according to label recommendations, and don't overfeed, as too much fertilizer may cause yellowing of the leaves. Never apply fertilizer to dry soil.

Best grown in full sun to part shade.

Perform well in most types of soil.
