It is a widespread native perennial with one strong unbranched stem reaching as high as four feet. Originating from a large white ovoid bulb, several large pendant to nodding flowers range in color from yellow to orange to reddish, and are loosely arranged in a bracteate raceme.
However, special attention should be paid to watering from early June to mid-July. But be careful, the plant reacts extremely negatively to stagnant moisture in the soil. In the dry season, the bushes are watered directly under the root in the morning or afternoon. When all moisture is absorbed into the ground, its surface must be loosened.
As for dressings, the first of them is carried out at the very beginning of the spring period, when shoots have not yet appeared from the ground. For this, a mineral complex is introduced into the soil at the rate of 30 grams per 1 m2. In the same way, the bushes should be fed during the formation of buds. At the end of the flowering of lilies, for quick recovery, the bulbs need phosphorus and potassium, therefore, the following top dressing is carried out: 30 grams of sulfate and 10 grams of superphosphate are added per 1 m2 of soil.
Also, do not forget to pick off wilted flowers from peduncles in a timely manner, because they prevent the development of new buds.
