German Ivy (Delairea Ordarta) is an evergreen climbing perennial native to South Africa. This vine is a trendy addition to many homes worldwide and is known for its rapid growth.

You can identify German Ivy by its rapid growth, green leaves, smooth vines, and bunches of yellow flowers. Commonly known as  Cape Ivy and Parlor Ivy, it can reach lengths of 30ft (10m) and is ideal for hanging baskets and covering the ground around them.

Cape Ivy spreads outward, growing over shrubs and even trees, forming a dense blanket of vegetation that begins to overtake other plant life.
