Alocasia wentii Care

This Alocasia needs regular watering during the growing season, but the soil should be smooth. Allow the soil's surface to dry out between waterings, and water deeply once per week. Ensure the container has suitable drainage holes, and invest in a humidity tray to maintain humidity levels.

Pruning is unnecessary, but you should remove any damaged or dead leaves if possible.

Fertilize your Hardy Elephant's Ear every 2 weeks with a balanced liquid fertilizer throughout the growing season. Fertilize less frequently, once a month in the winter.

These plants prefer bright, indirect light. Place the plant in an area that receives plenty of light but avoids direct sunlight, which can burn the leaves.

This foliage plant is called the 'False Caladium' because it resembles the valid Caladium species in appearance and texture.
