Haworthiopsis attenuata var. glabrata, formerly known as Haworthia glabrata, is a small charming succulent that forms rosettes of fleshy, narrow leaves. The rosettes grow up to 4 inches (10 cm) in diameter and up to 5 inches (12.5 cm) tall. Leaves are light to dark green or brownish-green if grown in direct sunlight.
Partial sun generally means less than six and more than four hours of sun per day. Plants for partial sun will do well in a location where they receive a break from the sun each day. They like the sun but will not tolerate a full day of it and need at least some shade each day.
When it comes to fertilizers, you want to avoid over-fertilizing (just like an overdose of vitamins isn't great for us, either). Less is more, so it’s important to follow what the package says for application amounts.
They do best in the temperature range of 75-90°F. But they can tolerate temperatures into the low 40ºFs, especially if they do not have continuously wet soil and they will survive high temperatures into the low 100ºFs, especially if they are somewhat shaded and have good air movement.
Whether it be plastic or clay, make sure the pot you select has drainage holes in the bottom to prevent over-watering.
