Aloe âBlizzardâ is best known to be a beautiful looking succulent. As the plant matures expect it to reach up to 20 cm (8âł) tall. The plants main feature are the beautiful light green fleshy leaves that have dark greens pots all over the leaves. When the plant produces flowers expect them to be coral.
It prefers warmer temperatures of 70 to 80 °F (21 to 27 °C) but will survive down to 40 °F (4.5 °C). Feed with a succulent fertilizer in the summer only. Suspend feeding in the winter as the plant goes dormant. See more at How to Grow and Care for Aloe.
Unfortunately, saponins are toxic to cats as well as dogs, birds and lizards. Symptoms of aloe poisoning include diarrhea, vomiting, loss of appetite, depression, tremors and a change in urine color.
