How to Care for the Plant
Water
Serapias need special care especially when it comes to watering. Dormant tubers are very sensitive to moisture and tubers rot easily. Very young plants, when the new shoots first appear also die from over watering.
Fertilizer
They do need more light than Soft-canes, well-drained soil with some organic matter and some slow release fertilizer.
