Grevillea leucopteris, also known as old socks or white plume grevillea, is a shrub which is endemic to the south-west of Western Australia. It grows up to 5 metres (16 ft) in height and produces white or cream unpleasantly-scented flowers between July and January (mid winter to mid summer) in its native range.
It reproduces by seed in sandy loam kept humid, at the temperature of 20-22 °C, and by semi-woody cutting.
Grevillea leucopteris produces bottlebrush-like racemes of white or cream flowers on long erect stems from July to January. The flowers have a strong unpleasant smell.
