Aloinopsis malherbei is a cryptic perennial-succulent with flat, bluish-gray, fan-like, spatulate leaves similar in shape and texture to Aloinopsis spathulata and Titanopsis calcarea. All these species have blunt tips to their leaves, which are densely covered with prominent white tubercles
They come from winter rainfall areas but in cultivation, they can be watered year-round. It is probably dormant in summer, so it is usually recommended not to water much in summer and also reduce watering frequency in winter, but it is a very adaptable species that can grows opportunistically whenever the water availability and growing condition are favourable. Water it less than average if in bigger pots.
When caring for the Aloinopsis Luckhoffii it is important to understand the plants watering and soil needs so that it can thrive better.
This type of succulent prefers a warm climate. It can survive at zone 8a-11b which is around -12.2°C (10°F). If you live in a cold area, it is better to plant in an indoor environment. As long as it gets enough sunlight, the plant will grow happily.
