Graptopetalum (leatherpetal) is a perennial succulent plants and native to Mexico and Arizona. They grow grow in a rosette. They are not frost hardy but in frost free regions, make excellent rockery plants. 'Mendozae' has pale green leaves that take on darker colours in summer light levels. This Graptopetalum is best established in the shade
Graptopetalum purpusorum needs 0.5 cups of water every 12 when it doesn't get direct sunlight and is potted in a 5" pot.
Mix the recommended amount of liquid fertilizer and water in a watering can. Then simply pour the mix into the soil as if you're watering the plant.
Medium light/Partly shaded – This is where the plant gets some morning sun or some afternoon sun. Morning sun is less intense than afternoon sun, so putting your plants a few meters in from an East facing window works for maximum sun while reducing the risk of burning.
Whether it be plastic or clay, make sure the pot you select has drainage holes in the bottom to prevent over-watering.
