What is the plant

It is a winterannual grass species native to Europe, North Africa, and Asia Minor. It has been introduced to North America, the Hawaiian Islands, Puerto Rico and other places. As an introduced species in North America, brome fescue is found primarily in the western part of Canada, the southern and western part of the United States, and northern Mexico.

Vulpia myuros is an annual grass, native to much of Europe and parts of Asia, introduced to the USA, Australia and a number of other countries, and reported as invasive in Australia, the western USA and parts of the Pacific.
