Alocasia Low Rider Care
Alocasia 'Low Rider'

Alocasia Low Rider is a perennial herbaceous plant that comes from the Asian tropics. Many Alocasia plants, including this species, are called Elephant ear plants because of their huge leaf size. Nonetheless, this is a dwarf Alocasia рhybrid that can grow up to 2 feet (60 cm) tall.
This member of the Aroideae family doesn't usually bloom indoors because it needs specific humidity, lighting, temperature, and even dormancy. Nevertheless, the flowers aren't showy, so Alocasia Low Rider is grown for its foliage which can be maintained in good shape with little effort.
