C. speciosa - C. speciosa is a tender, broadly conical, slow-growing, semi-evergreen tree with a stout, fleshy, spiny trunk and pinnate leaves divided into lance-shaped, toothed, dark green leaflets. Widely funnel-shaped, pink flowers with cream throats in autumn are followed by pear-shaped, green fruit ripening brown.
