How to Care for the Plant
Water
You can expect your White Princess to require water when the top layer of soil is dry. When watering your White Princess, be sure to water thoroughly allowing water to drain completely. Aside from solely relying on the watering frequency to tell when your plant is thirsty, a tell tale sign that your White Princess needs water is drooping leaves. However, drooping leaves can also be a sign that the plant is getting too much water.
Fertilizer
Feed Philodendrons with a balanced liquid houseplant fertiliser; water with fertiliser every month during summer and every 6-8 weeks in autumn and winter.
Sunlight
This plant also benefits from a warm, humid environment and being positioned in bright, indirect sunlight.
Soil
White Princess requires a moist but well draining soil. Perlite is a great soil additive to potting mix to ensure adequate water drainage. We recommend a mixture of 1 part perlite to 9 parts premium indoor plant potting mix.
Temperature
Philodendron thrives in warm temperatures, 18-23°C is ideal.
