By far the best-known cane-type begonias are the angel wing begonias, which grow on upright stems with interesting leaves and magnificent displays of a pendant and drooping flowers. The dragon wing begonia, another beauty, also belongs in this category. How to Care for the Plant

Water
Begonias have different watering needs depending on how old they are. when your begonia is on the younger side, you'll want to keep the soil moderately moist for the first couple of weeks; however, as with any plant, be wary not to overwater.

Needs a lot of sunlight, but it has to be protected from the strongest rays of the sun. In a south-facing window, blinds should be shading it form direct light. An east facing window, where the sun disappears after about 10 AM, is a good choice as is a west facing window where the plant will receive afternoon sun.

Use a well-draining indoor potting mix with perlite to help with drainage.
