Flower festivals are celebrated almost every year around the world, showcasing the beauty of nature in its most beautiful form. We’ll show you the most colorful festivals in the world! Maybe, you'll visit one some day?

Flower Festivals in Italy
Time: end of May, beginning of June.
At the end of May, the Iris Garden takes place in Florence. It functions for about two weeks, allowing everyone to enjoy the variety of shapes, colors and aromas of this flower.
In Italy, two more flower festivals are held:
- In mid-January, in San Remo,
- In the suburbs of Rome, on the eve of Corpus Christi, June 6.
The Sanremo Festival is a lavish parade of flower carriages. The festival in Genzano di Roma, a small town near the Italian capital, is called Infiorata. During it, the main street of the town is almost completely hidden under a floral carpet.

Narzissenfest in Bad Aussee (Austria)
Time: end of May.
The festival lasts from late May to mid-June — this is the time when the narcissus is actively blooming. The Austrian region of Ausseerland-Salzkammergut becomes the focus of everyone's attention in the spring, as it has a huge number of daffodils in bloom. Flowers make real spring meadows from the alpine slopes.
Narcissus is a symbol of a colorful parade in many cities in Austria. Some of them have their own specific features of the event, but the basis is the same. The participants in the action are figures made of daffodils that adorn cars and buildings.

RHS Chelsea Flower Show (Great Britain)
Time: the last days of May.
The RHS Chelsea Flower Show lasts 5 days and brings together hundreds of exhibitions from around the world. It's a prestigious and fashionable event.
Every year at the exhibition nurseries and arboretums from all over the world present their competition gardens to the audience — usually there are more than forty of them in the program.

Keukenhof Gardens and Bloemencorso Bollenstreek (Netherlands)
Time: at the end of April.
The Keukenhof flower gardens, equidistant from The Hague and Amsterdam, are some of the most famous in the world. The Bloemencorso Flower Parade is traditionally held in the last week of April. The column of dozens of platforms and installations decorated with flowers begins its movement at 9 am and makes its way from the city of Noordwijk to the city of Haarlem.
This parade ends in Haarlem at about 9 pm — at this time a show with fireworks and illumination is organized here, concerts and folk festivals are held. Well, as a bonus to the flower parades, there is a holiday that the Dutch celebrate annually on April 30 — Queen Julianne's birthday.
