What is the best fertilizer to use?

The best fertilizer is vermicompost. I bought a lot of red Californian earthworms. (find them in online stores). When I'm preparing meals at home, I collect organic waste in a closed, dark container. I put it into the soil. The worms feed on these and fertilize it. Fertilizers are sold ready-made as liquid and solid, but I also feed the worms because they aerate the soil and eat the rotting leaves. Depending on your environment you can either buy ready-made vermicompost or do as I do.
