Is probably overwatered u should remove the orchid from the ground and put it in orchid potting mix

Orchids are very hard to find the balance between watering and overwatering I had to make a chart to keep up with it before having this app lol but I’d just planting could also have an air pocket with in the soil air pockets can kill even the strongest of plant happy planting but I agree also with the statement above

You need orchid soil, orchids aren’t meant to be in full sun. Bright light no direct sun.

Try putting it on bark or aerated terracota,it has to be watered only when roots are dry 🌱 Hope this helps!

Don’t plant orchids in the ground. Put them in an orchid mix in a pot
