Why is this app telling me to take my lucky bamboo out of the water and put it into soil that it’s over water this app is lying

Plants doesn’t grow in water, they grow in soil. That is why it is yellow now.
So, I have lucky bamboo. And I also have relatives who have lucky bamboo. The thing is, You honestly don't need to put it into a soil unless you want to. Now i’m not saying you can't get nutrients from it or that its not suggested, but its an option. If your plant is fine and your okay with how its going now, leave it.
