patio garden recommendations?

Hello! Me and my husband want to start a garden on our apartment patio that will grow practical fruit and veggies we can use to cool with/eat. I know tomatoes are an easy basic but what others would work well in a smaller space?

I always recommend growing things that you like to eat

I think tomatoes maybe strawberrys?

Beans peas radishes if the pot is deep enough
