My dog just ate one too… any answers ? I m in south florida
I’m not sure what type of mushroom it is but I would remove all of them just in case. Monitor your pup for signs of poisoning; vomiting, diarrhea, convulsions, seizures. If you have concerns take him to the vet and also take one of the mushrooms.
Could be calvatia mushroom. Either way it doesn’t seem harmful, but the dog might say otherwise, we’ll see!
“Agaricaceae” is a cornerstone of the fungi world and encompasses many commonly found mushrooms. It has over a thousand classified species! From tiny and toxic to massive and meaty and more i’m not very good at recognizing mushrooms when I forage but I bet if he just ate one, you should be OK💚, agaricaceae and this looks like a puffball type. If he didn’t eat too many, I bet he’ll be OK. Causing upset stomach. but not fatal and they have to eat a bunch
Take a close-up picture of the mushroom and go identify the mushroom using this app
Ground mold. Non-toxic just dusty dry mouth flavor
