dracaena plant with brown tips

This plant came from Costco in a weird soil mix that seems to retain a lot of moisture. Now the tips are turning brown. Could the problem the soil? Or other thoughts please!

The plant appears healthy.

Im no expert on palm trees, but I do live a few miles from the ocean & Palms of all types like a sandy soil should be very well draining if its holding moisture it will probably kill your plant eventually maybe this type is different but I wouldnt think so. Browning tips could be from heat stress as well possibly a little too much sun not having enough air circulation could cause this and also may be wanting some misting. If the top inch of soil is moist, the bottom inch of the pot is probably wet

You're probably right about the soil. They usually have them in what will hold over in a greenhouse setting and not really for what's best long term. I think new soil would be a good idea

Youre probably right about the soil I would repot it and put some more perlite in there. So it drains better. I have one of these. They tend to be very drought tolerant make sure youre not overwatering it.
