The plant provided is a species of Spathiphyllum cochlearispathum, which is a popular indoor plant known for its large, dark green leaves. However, the plant appears to be suffering from some sort of issue that is causing it to look unhealthy. One possible issue could be overwatering, which can cause the leaves to become droopy and discolored. To fix this, it's important to reduce the frequency of watering and make sure the soil is well-drained. Additionally, the plant may benefit from receiving indirect light and being kept at room temperature. Another issue could be underfertilization, which can cause the plant to appear weak and leggy. To fix this, it's important to fertilize the plant regularly with a balanced fertilizer. Finally, the plant may be suffering from pest or disease issues, which can cause it to look unhealthy. To fix this, it's important to identify the issue and treat it accordingly. For example, if the plant has scale insects, applying insecticidal soap or neem oil can help to control the population. Overall, by addressing these potential issues, the plant should be able to recover and thrive.
It’s a Peace Lily. Your plant looks healthy to me. They will droop dramatically when they need water. They look like they’re dying but will perk up once they’re watered. Bright indirect sunlight or a grow light. I fertilize every two weeks during the summer which helps to keep it blooming.
