It appears that the flower in the image has some brown spots on the petals. This could be a sign of a disease or pest infestation. It's important to identify the cause of the damage and take appropriate action to prevent further damage or to treat the plant. Some possible causes of the damage could be a fungal infection or insect damage. To treat the plant, it's important to prune out any damaged leaves and stems and to use a fungicide or insecticide as needed to treat the problem. Additionally, it's important to provide the plant with proper care and maintenance, including fertilization, watering, and providing adequate sunlight. It's also important to note that the plant provided is a species of Petunia atkinsiana, which is known to be susceptible to various diseases and pests. It's important to monitor the plant regularly, and take action as needed to prevent or treat any issues.
I’m in zone 8b, Seattle area. I grow petunias every year but I’ve never been able to bring them back the next year. If anyone has any tips I’d appreciate it!
It’s hard for me to say, so many things just come back year after year here “if my chickens won’t eat it that is” lol
