The plant in the picture appears to be a Gardenia jasminoides, which is a species of evergreen shrub or small tree. It has green leaves and small, white flowers. The plant in the picture is in a large pot on a wooden deck. It appears that the plant is not doing well, as the leaves are drooping and the plant is not thriving. One possible reason for this could be that the plant is not getting enough sunlight or water. It may also be suffering from a pest or disease issue. To fix this issue, you could try moving the plant to a sunnier location or providing it with more water. You could also try treating the plant for pests or diseases, if applicable. It's also important to make sure the soil is well-drained and not too wet or dry. If the plant is still not thriving, it may be necessary to replace it with a different species or consult with a professional gardener.
