What does it mean if my lavendar plant has white stuff on it?

It means it’s got mold or fungus.
Lavender is my arch enemy. It is the plant that made me realize that overwatering can be worse than underwatering. It prefers dry soil and needs to dry between waterings in order to prevent root rot. That is what you see.
