SOS. Please help save my papaya plant!!

My papaya is dying from overwatering due to the everyday Florida showers. I have it in full sun in the middle of the backyard. I dont know how to really move it somewhere else because there arent a lot of places on the property that get full sunlight. Im a first time papaya plant owner (and killer apparently). Not sure what to do about it like where do I put it or do I get a tent for it or what? I have no idea. Please help!!

Sorry about your plant maybe after it drys out some it will come out of it. Wish I knew more.

If the leaves brown any more snip them and put the plant in a place where it isnt in such direct sunlight, I would also make sure your watering every week, regardless of the care guides say twice a week is the correct amount in Florida heat.

Maybe even thrice a week if it looks really dry

Dont snip the wood that was a typo lol I meant leaves

Plant it in the ground e
