I have a romaine lettuce plants but it starts to get lethargic and looks like it’s not doing well. Although my other romaine lettuces are doing great! What could be the problem? Does anyone know?

Maybe too much water but I looks like it’s wilting
I have it in a bed and it has a layer of water underneath so it takes water as it needs it? Thank you
Probably it has some issues with roots. For examlple some worms and pests could destroy them. Better to check the soil.

I checked them and the base of the lettuce plant was soggy and rotting. I still don’t understand I have other romaine lettuce in the same bed and it’s doing amazing! It is like triple the size of this one. Here is how the romaine lettuce that’s doing really good looks like
Make sure that the roots of the plant are not affected by pests and are not damaged
