Field behind my home

“Sudan grass” is what my grandfather always told me it was called here. My father farms the land today and they grow it for animal feed. I love how tall it grows

Uses: Johnson grass is much more than an ordinary grass. This hardy plant is highly prized as animal feed because of its nutritional richness. What's more, it's packed with cellulose which could be tapped for biofuel production. Interestingly, its seeds are not only edible but protein-rich, making them a valuable survival food, although they aren't widely used in cooking. They offer potential similar to other cereal grains.

We are located in Arizona, but all of this will be used for animal feed and being shipped to Japan. Typically we grow for buyers in Japan.
