Does your plant have any leaves yet? They do tend to look like just stalks. I had 2 avocado plants years ago. I miss them. One got very tall, about 4’, the other was smaller. The bigger one had a lot of nice, big leaves, but not a full looking plant. The other had less. The biggest one was in a very large pot. I started pinching off the leaves on top soo it might bush out more. It did, a little. I watered them & feed them beer. Like the leftovers in a couple empty cans, every month OR so. Indoor plants.
