something is wrong…Please help

So I just got this flower called a bird of paradise about 2 weeks ago and when I got it this flower had beautiful orange and blue flowers and there was no brown spots or dry spots I put it in soil and have been watering it when the soil feels dry and looks dry now it’s lost it’s flowers and has brown spots and the tips are dried out what do I do to save this plant.
