Thanksgiving Cactus

From root rot I was able to save a piece. After 8 months of babying she finally bloomed.

Any tips? Light, water, fertilizer etc?

First, I took the entire plant out of the soil. Thew away the worst and kept the rest. But I made sure it had at least 2 or 3 sections. Then, I removed all soil from its roots. Let it dry overnight. Next, I planted it back in new soil. I only water very little, once a week, around the edges of its pot, no where near the roots! I now use a soil meter to make sure the soil is completely dry. The last thing is I talk to it, cheering it on for staying alive another week! 😝

It always has filtered light. Never direct. Ive never fertilized, but I just bought some. So, soon. Fingers crossed , she grows even better after that.
