Had to make a tough decision ☹️
Ziva Paperwhite was flowering and looking great, but I developed a headache that would come and go. I left the house and the headache went away. I returned and noticed a smell as soon as I entered. Minutes later the headache returned. The culprit…the flower fragrance from the paper whites - which isn’t a subtle fragrance. I already had it at the opposite end of the house, and knowing the smell would only get stronger as more flowers bloom….I had a difficult choice. I had to place it outside in 32 degree weather. We have snow forecast for overnight. I feel sad for the plant, but I also don’t have a headache anymore.
