they chopped them way down :(
I live in a townhouse style neighborhood and the landscapers came by and lopped the long grasses way down. They were providing some shade and a good barrier for some of my plants. I know it will grow back but probably not in time for Halloween. I'll probably put something up just to keep foot traffic from accidents
