Spider Mites? or something else?

I bought a fern and planted it in a planter I converted from an old crt tv with new soil, after cleaning the planter out again. I got these bugs. I tried a few applications of Sevin. That didnt work, so I sprayed it with a rubbing alcohol mix. I didnt see them for a few days so about a week after the alcohol spray, I hosed the fern down, gave it another alcohol spray, hosed again, added systemic granules to the soil, then, with the plant protected, sprayed the tv and into the vents of the tv with spider killer. I brought the tv inside and next day the bugs are still there!!! I then sprayed it again with Bonide MiteX and have been out of town for a couple days. They are still there!!! I then just now sprayed it again with MiteX. How do I get rid of these things? Are they mites or something else? Its hard to see from the pics. So much easier to see them crawling around in a video.

I think those are too big for spider mites. The tell tale sign is webbing, and youll see little specks moving in the web. Maybe aphids? Neem oil/systemics should work. Or the most exciting treatment, buy 10k ladybugs off amazon and release them in your plant room. They eat everything.

Spider mites are too small to see for the neutral eye. You can maybe see them With a 10x magnifying glass. Also you would see webs under the leaves like this..
