Not sure what type of base you’re growing it in but I would have it potted in a potting mix with soil/dirt. If leaf continues to yellow/brown cut it off. You may have parasites though to so I recommend repotting and using a neem oil mixture to kill any insects that may be taking over.
I think it’s rotting because of overwatering!
