Fly infestation Mint Plant
Does anybody know why my mint plant is infested with flies and what flies they are. Some are black and some are green. Then around my windowsill they are clear and stick like. (looks like they have dropped off when dead)

Tiny but maybe fungus gnats. Those buggers are the Bain of my existence. Started using mosquito bits. Hoping for better

They look like aphids. I’ve not seen aphids go for mint, though. You could try spraying them with neem oil.

Yes, they’re aphids. The adults differ in color from light green to black . Neem oil will do the trick. And yes they are attracted to mint.
