is my plant dead?
This is plant i come to own from a coworker who repotted this into a giant pot about6 weeks - 2 months ago and so i just repotted it in this and it looks pretty dead to me, and if Has since it was first given to me. Any tips on how to revive, or ideas on whether its even alive? Also, does anyone know what it is? Lol im a rookie, thanks in advance to all who are able to help!

Im no expert by any means, but it looks pretty dead to me. I would try to get one of the pieces out and see if it is connected to any roots or if it just falls off. Did it get watered a lot? Ive had cacti just all of the sudden die and I think that I watered them too much. I have a plant that looks like yours. It was starting to die because I watered it too much. I took the viable pieces off of the main plant and just stuck them in soil and didnt water them. Good luck!
