How to Care for the Plant
Water
Water deeply enough for water to run out the drainage hole, then wait for the soil to fully dry before watering again.
Fertilizer
Add fertilizer during the warmer months. However, as the temperatures start to drop, the plant begins to go dormant and doesn’t need a lot of nutrition. Feed every 2 weeks spring through fall with a 2-7-7 liquid fertilizer diluted by half.
Sunlight
Full sun is handled well, but filtered light and morning sun will bring out the best in your Echeveria.
Soil
Grow your plant in a mixture of cactus potting mix with some additional sand. A well-drained soil mix will help avoid fungal infections.
Temperature
Protect from freezing temperatures or move indoors during periods of hard freeze. It can tolerate the temperatures from 30°F (−1.1°C) to 50°F (+10°C).
Container
Choose any type of container with enough drainage holes.
