Justicia rizzinii (Firecracker Flower) is a bushy evergreen shrub with small, dark green, ovate leaves and nodding clusters of tubular, yellow-tipped red flowers, 1 in. long (2 cm). Resembling firecrackers, the flowers are attractive to hummingbirds and are on display over a long period extending from fall to spring.

How to Care for the Plant
Water
Grow under glass in loam-based compost in full light with shade from hot sun. Maintain high humidity. Water freely & feed monthly in growth, keep just moist in winter. In frost free areas, grow in fertile, moist but well-drained soil in partial shade.
