Hieracium umbellatum (commonly called Hieracium canadense), the Canadian hawkweed, Canada hawkweed, narrowleaf hawkweed, or northern hawkweed, is a flowering plant in the daisy family Asteraceae. The central stem is light green to purple, terete, glabrous to short-pubescent below, and short-pubescent above. About 6-30 alternate leaves are distributed evenly along the length of the stem; the leaves remain the same size, or become slightly smaller in size, as they ascend the stem. Individual leaves are 1½–4" long ¼–1¼" across.
