What is the plant

Alocasia Pink Dragon is a small perennial evergreen native to the tropical climate of the Philippines and belongs to the Araceae family. Thanks to its beautiful leaves and ease of care, the plant has become popular in many countries, not only among collectors but also among beginners who want to add a little jungle to their homes. But at the same time, it is worth remembering that it is quite toxic.

Alocasia 'Pink Dragon' can be easily identified by its large pink stems with long, light-veined dark green leaves. If conditions are right, the leaves have a purplish-maroon underside and can grow up to 20 in (50 cm) tall.

There is usually one large leaf per stem, and the plant itself grows up to 39 in (1 meter) tall and 31 in (80 cm) wide. Since the plant is evergreen, its appearance does not change throughout the year, and the leaves continue to attract attention.
