Tulipa Little Princess is a marvellous dwarf rock garden tulip. This is a cracking good plant with several stems supporting brilliant copper-orange flowers. The centre of each flower is deep yellow with darker thundery markings at the base together with black anthers. The outside of the petal is a ripe melon colour with verdigris pencilling. The whole flower develops to a darker tone as it ages.
Tulipa Little Princess has been awarded the RHS Award of Garden Merit because it has proved to be reliable in appropriate conditions and a good performing plant.
Yes - Bulbs, blooms, leaves, and stems all contain toxic compounds, which are most concentrated in the bulb. When you receive your spring bulbs (tulips, daffodils, etc.) keep them in a dry, dark, cool place until ready to plant.
