The Aeschynanthus ‘Scooby Doo’ is an eye-catching plant with crazy curling leaves which go this way and that. If cared for well, vines grow quickly and easily and can reach up to 1m in length, making it an ideal plant for a hanging basket or macrame.
Lipstick plant care begins with airy soil and proper fertilization. A 3-2-1 ratio liquid fertilizer gives a good result as long as you keep the soil moist. Be sure that you add a small amount of vitamins to the potting soil as part of the fertilization program.
Indoor temperatures ranging between 75°F to 85°F promote the best growth and flowering. Lipstick Plants will tolerate temperatures down to 60°F but the growth slows.
