'Cutlass' is a hybrid selection of Chinese evergreen that features long, slender, lanceolate, grey-green foliage with darker green margins and streaks. Mature plants will reach up to 4' tall with a similar spread. Typical arum-type inflorescences are produced seasonally to rarely depending on cultural conditions. Grown mostly for its showy foliage rather than the blooms.
Keep the soil moist at all times, do not allow it to dry out. Do not overwater as this may encourage root rot. Moderation is the key.
Aglaonema will thrive in low to bright light levels. The lighter the leaf colour the higher the required light levels. Plain, dark green varieties will thrive in near shade, whereas the lighter, variegated types need well lit, bright conditions. Avoid direct sunlight as this will scorch the leaves.
These plants can cause irritation if eaten and the sap is a skin and eye irritant. Keep out of reach of children and animals. Cleans and improves air quality by filtering toxins from the surrounding environment.
