The dragon tree is a dracaena with deep green foliage which grows in a spiral from its cane like stem. A great low maintenance and low light plant which makes a great addition to any home or workspace.
Water when the soil starts to dry out at the top, water well and allow to drain thoroughly. Dracaena are relatively drought tolerant. Do not over water as this will cause the leaf tips to blacken.
Dracaena is a versatile plant, coping with light shade through to bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight.
The sap is toxic to animals. It is not considered poisonous to people, but Dracaena is not fit for human consumption. This plant filters airborne toxins and is part of our clean air plant collection.
