Juniper mexican is a plant species of the Juniper genus of the Cypress family.
Shrubs or trees , dioecious . They grow, as a rule, 5-10 m in height, in exceptional cases up to 15 m. Needles are 2-5 mm in length. The cones are small, 3-6 mm, ripen in the fall of the first year. The wood of the tree is fragile, resistant to decay. In plantings, it is very decorative. Pollen causes severe allergic reactions in some cases.
