Annual flax 7-30 cm tall. The leaves are finely and sharp-toothed along the edge and veins. The flowers are relatively large; petals with long marigolds connected in a tube. Pedicel is several times shorter than the calyx. Grows on the grassy slopes of the lower and middle mountain belt.
Propagated by seeds (sowing before winter or spring) and dividing the bush (spring). Seedlings bloom in the second year, plants grown from seeds are stronger and more abundant bloom than "separated" ones. Landing distance 15-20 cm.Perennial species with a branched rhizome, found in the Mediterranean and southern regions of Europe. Beautiful blue five-petal flowers, collected in forked inflorescences, rise to a height of 50 cm. Flowering begins in May and June.
